Motorbike taxi and delivery jobs

Both of the first jobs in town need an A1 licence (from the driving school). The stand lends you a bike; you only have to ride each leg.

A motorbike taxi (xe ôm) shift

1. Go to the xe ôm stand, press Take a xe om shift, then Take the shift. You have to be at the stand to get a shift.
2. Pick up the passenger at the meeting point nearby.
3. Drop them off where they want to go. This leg pays the main wage.
4. Take the bike back to the stand to end the shift. Coming back late means this leg pays nothing, but you keep what you already earned.

Each shift has a time limit, and you must get close enough to each point for the leg to count.

A delivery shift

1. Go to the Hội An Post Office, press Take a delivery shift, then Take the shift.
2. A shift has a few parcels. Outside the old town you ride right up to the kerb of the address.
3. Inside the car-free zone you park the bike at its edge and walk to the door.
4. When you are done, bring the bike back to the post office.

The pay depends on the distance, may include a tip, and has a bonus when the last parcel arrives on time.

Good to know

• You can quit a shift at any time with no penalty.
• When the flood water is high, shifts close until it goes down.
• Wages are in-game income and may be taxed each month by in-game brackets.
• Pay, shift times and limits may change over time; the game always shows the exact numbers.
